A genuinely delightful and immersive educational experience! Thank you so much for the wonderful herbal learning that you offer.
Loved the spa workshop. Emily is knowledgeable, fun, and sensitive to individual needs. We learned about different herbs for masks, scrubs, and facial steams, and left with little packets of the herb mixes to repeat the process at home.
The Herbal Apprentice Program by Artemisia Academy is a great, self-paced, and comprehensive introduction to herbalism. The proprietor has a passion for herbs, botany and teaching, which comes through in the material offered. The class is both robust and supportive.
I finished the intro to plant id course and all I can say it was truly a amazing experience. My favorite is learning about plant families because when you can ID key characteristics you can assume for the most part what type of medicinal proprieties they can provide. for instance the mint family consists of many different herbs including lemon balm and my favorite holy basil. These herbs can be used as a mild calming agent in teas, not to mention the smells can help provide relaxation and stress relief!
I recently took the Herbs for the Body course with Artemisia Academy. This is the 3rd class I have taken at the school. Each class builds on one another as part of the larger Herbal Apprentice program, of which I am also a student. So far I am LOVING the program! The hybrid format of the class fits perfectly into my life.
