Bruce is a lovely man with a quick wit and kind heart. Both are evident in his art, which I've collected for over 20 years. The work is beautifully rendered, professionally presented, and it makes folks laugh. I've given several of Bruce's books and prints as gifts - suitable for anyone with a sense of humor and appreciation for beauty.
Barbara and I became acquainted with Bruce in 1987 when we purchased his pen and ink "Setter" and he was located in Brick, NJ. We have since collected a total of 31 prints, which I would categorize as Romantic, ("Longing"); Clever ("Light Cream"/"Heavy Cream") and Wistful ("Summertide"/"Theodore and Friends") among others. His art, coupled with iinciteful titles, as with his writings, are unique and highly recommended. You won''t be dissapointed.
Bruce is a talented, lovely and witty man. He happens to be fantastic artist with a wicked sense of humor and an endless supply jokes. His art is amusing and several pieces proudly hang in our home. His coffee table books are always a conversation starter and I often use the books to introduce my friends to his talent.
Bruce is not only an amazing artist - he is a great conversationalist. I met him at a Sugarloaf craft festival in Virginia a few years ago and seriously enjoyed spending time in his booth looking at all the great pictures and chatting with him. I always loved this print so I finally got it - and now it is no longer available. Limited prints... so if you like one don't wait to get it!! Bruce Garrabrandt's artwork is as good as it is humorous. His twisted humor makes you smile in spite of your best attempts to look away. His serious work is rich in detail, it invites you into the picture. He has a talent that makes you want to see more, to see where he goes with his wit. I have several pieces of his, they make me smile everyday. My favorite is this one, Aeromantics.
