I had a great time at Art Box Ceramics and Canvas for their pottery wheel throwing class. I was looking for beginner-friendly pottery classes with a friend in the Greater Charlotte area, and stumbled upon this place. It’s an easy, straight shot down Providence from South Charlotte, so the commute was very reasonable on a Friday evening. FANTASTIC fun! Took a friend for her birthday to learn how to throw pottery. Informative and entertaining. Can't say I'm a master potter after one class, but skills were learned and bowls were made! Will be coming back with the kids for some of their other cool, crafty offerings. Thanks y'all!!!

I was extremely happy to discover this place and attend a pottery wheel session yesterday at Art Box Ceramics and Canvas. I honestly never thought my hands would be steady enough to create something so beautiful on my first attempt! The entire experience felt incredibly therapeutic, and I truly felt a sense of joy while working on the wheel.
