Absolutely fantastic service - so good, I travelled all the way from Liverpool! They serviced and repaired my electric Brompton - it rides like new now - they even cleaned it! They kept me informed of what was happening all the way through and completed the work quickly - couldn't be happier!
We hired out 2 electric bikes from Lowther. We had the most fantastic time. I have not been on a bike for at least 20 years and the staff were brilliant at going through how to use the bikes properly. Can't believe we managed to cycle over 15 miles, with amazing views. I definitely recommend using Arragons cycle hire and will use again.
As someone who is new to cycling, whilst on holiday in the Lakes for a week, I went into Arragon’s (Penrith town centre) for some initial advice on a suitable bike. Brake pad failure on the C2C greeted warmly and bike taken in for repair while we had lunch. Amazing friendly service and superb comprehensive workshop can imagine there is nothing they can’t cope with. Thankyou so much for saving our day.
We had a tremendous 300 mile cycling tour in Cumbria and Northumberland with our Australian friends over an 11 day hire period. In total we hired 16 bikes which were a mix of quality gravel bikes and electric bikes. This obviously took a great deal of planning, matching bikes to riders, providing general maintenance and repair equipment. Throughout this process Sarah was outstanding, always helpful, patient and professional. Highly recommended by us all on this tour. There was not one single complaint.
