In the last 3 years of my mother's life, we needed to place her into Aged Care 3 times, due to the fact that her Carer was away. Her dream was always Arpad, but sadly on the first 2 occasions there was no availability. I chose other options that felt like 5 star hotels, modern and fresh. Since Sept 2021 when wonderful Manager and most Hungarian speaking staff were stood down the entire facility has deteriorated terribly. Poor communication, excessively expensive. Facilities in poor condition. Tressle tables used for dining. Revolving door of staff with very few Hungarian speaking. Manager and key staff don't speak Hungarian. Since workers have been sacked due to Covid vaccine mandates and replaced by temporary staff who have no interest for the well-being of our loved ones. The standard of care has drastically declined. Residents are not being looked after and the new staff are rude and unconcerned.
