We started this business to create a social space for knitters and crocheters of all backgrounds to come together through community events. Around the Table Yarns was an amazing experience! They had an amazing selection of great yarn. When we walked in, Pam greeted us and was very helpful with explaining the organization so I could easily find what I was looking for. Mark was also extremely helpful and pulled yarn from the back to make sure that all the skeins that I wanted were the same dye lots. It was all around a pleasure to shop there. I wish I lived closer so I could shop in store more often! I will definitely be ordering from them online in the future!
Cute store, but most of the yarn is quite expensive. The cashier was friendly, but the rest of the staff gave me an unwelcoming vibe, like I didn’t belong. I don’t think I’ll be back.
I first found this shop online two years ago and ordered some materials, not knowing that it was physically only a half hour away from my sister's house in NE Ohio. When I went to visit her shortly thereafter, I visited the shop and was blown away by the yarn variety in terms of colors, gauges, and fibers. All the employees were very helpful -- I'm allergic to wool, so I often have to find substitutes for patterns -- and they even wound a number of skeins for me that I'd purchased from another online store.
