⭐ 0 Star Review I went to Arokaya Thai Massage because I woke up with a sore neck and asked if they could help fix it they said yes. I paid $60 for a 30 minute neck and shoulder massage, but it was not worth it. The soreness didn’t improve at all. What made it worse is that after the massage, they recommended I go to Balaclava Thai Massage! Are they serious? After taking my money, they tell me to go somewhere else? That’s unacceptable. Been a few times and it is normally really good, yesterday the therapist spent the whole time on or checking her phone, being a massage therapist myself I notice everything and she definitely was making it up on the spot.
Disappointing Experience Booked a 60m full body massage alongside a friend. We started at the same time, but mine ended after just 45m - after spending 5m getting changed, I waited a further 10m for her to finish, and she got the full 60m. When I raised it, I was told hers was “extended,” which didn’t make sense. Ultimately, I paid for a 60m massage and received a 45m massage. I paid for a 60-minute massage and was really disappointed with the experience. Halfway through, a different therapist took over with no explanation or communication. They only worked on my back area and completely skipped the front of my body. I have had multiple thai massages & have never had this experience. The room was also cold. To make things worse, they later tried to say I was given an extra 10 minutes when questioned about the massage. Which was simply not true — the massage started at 6:00pm and finished at 6:55pm... read more
