Being there in 2005 saved my life. It's a great atmosphere of people that I can relate too. 18 years later I find my self there not for a relapse this time, but for a spiritual connection.
I remember going to Rockford meetings back in the 90s. I was a young kid then but had started using when I was about 11 until I was in my late teenage years. I went to the old Cornerstone of Recovery facility on Topside Rd. We came to meetings here about once a week. I am now almost 30 years clean and sober. I am so grateful for this place and how nice they were way back then. I am blown away that it still exist after all these years. Thanks for all you do and God bless.
