I have shopped at Karen's for years and have always been very happy. However, my husband and I went in after Christmas and bought the entire Haunted Mansion collection for my daughter for her birthday and Christmas present next year, because it was 25% off. The total price for all of the pieces was over $550. The lady that helped me stated NUMBEROUS TIMES, that it was only 25% off because nothing is changing for next year and we can continue to add to it. I grew up at Karen's Hallmark in Rocky River Ohio. I love the store and the things in the store to buy. BUT I had a bad experience with a Store Associate by the name of Quinn. After just making a purchase I forgot to ask about my membership and got back in the line and waited my turn and was very rudely told by Quinn I could not sign up until I purchased something else. I usually order a gift basket for my mom from that company that has those wonderful pears. But I have been increasingly disappointed over the last couple of years with the quality, so the pears aren't so wonderful anymore. My mom is 91 and I want her to have the best. She loves fudge and peanut brittle so I ordered a basket from you. She can't stop talking about her basket and how she seems to discover a new treasure every day. Thank you so much.
This is the worst store I've ever been to. The two women at the register took 16 minutes for one customer and when it was finally my turn they refused to use my Valid coupons! Then they charged me tax on a free card which I believe is not legal. I had no change so gave my credit card and she refused it because it was only for 26 cents. So I had to go find my car in the lot and look for it and go back again. This was the worst experience ever. Don't go here!!!

Walked in wearing a mask. Made a statement to the person with me "I am surprised to wear a mask at a local moberly store". The owner proceeded to berate me on the importance of masks. Again I had one on. And said that if we had a problem with mask wearing we could leave. Again I had one on.
