I have been trying repeatedly to contact someone from Armands to replace broken cords in some blinds they did for us two years ago. No one ever answers the phone or returns my messages, and no one is there when I stop by. I’m not sure if they’ve gone out of business? We unfortunately have been disappointed in the durability of the blinds they did for us.
Armand's owner, Vern, was exceptional. He worked closely with my wife and I to measure our new home's windows for Hunter Douglas blinds, provided us with a quote quickly, and his team were professionals in installing them in less than half a day. I will be using them to purchase my draperies soon.
The original owner/founder died last summer and a douche bag named Vern took over. I had a question regarding the replacement of a chain for my mothers' blinds and the schyster tried to sell me a $1,000 solution. Came home and figured it out on my own in about ten minutes. Avoid this business at all costs.
I bought plantation shutters from Armand's for 5 rooms over 25 years ago, before clients were in computers. The shutters look great and there has never been a need to replace them. Recently, I noticed a magnet which helped to keep them closed wasn't working and had broken off. I called Armands, real glad to see they were still in business.
