My name is Donna Perron. Opening Ark on the River as an alternative care service for seniors has been an exciting opportunity for me. My desire is to provide health care to the residents the same way I would want my own parents cared for and to provide the opportunity to age in place through the end of life. Donna was amazing! My Dad was cared for in the most honorable way. The best you can want for a loved one is for them to be cared for the way you would care for them and Donna did exactly that!!! She also cared for the family and supported us by her words, prayer and opening her home for us daily. After my Dad passed we didn’t want to leave this comforting environment. Thank you so much Donna!
I cannot say enough amazing things about Ark on the River and working with Donna and Amy. They cared for my father in his last weeks with the utmost compassion and care. When I would show up for visits Donna would be watching his favorite TV show (Blue Bloods!) with him or playing his favorite music! The care he received here was 11/10! The home is beautiful, overlooking the river and I could not have imagined another place for my father to spend his final days.
This place is awesome. My brother and I were very skeptical when it came to our mom's end of life care. We checked out a couple places and when we walked into Donna's home, we both knew this was what we wanted for our mom's last few weeks of life. Great, compasinate care. Highly recommend ! Such an oasis after my mom had been in the hospital for 3 weeks. We never dreamed we would find a place that was so beautiful and welcoming. It felt like home from day one and the care was lovely. We felt like God was lavishing His love on us and on Mom as we spent her last days together before she went home to be with the Lord. I praise God for Donna, her staff and this beautiful facility.
