Donna and Ark on the River was a true blessing for our Mom and our family. Such wonderful care, i truly feel Donna was heaven sent! We praise God for Donna and her wonderful care of our beloved Mom to the end!
Donna, the heart of the Ark on the River is truly a refuge. Donna offered a peaceful haven for my dad and our family over this past month. Donna’s compassion and dedication was evident in every interaction providing not only exceptional care but also genuine warmth, kindness and understanding. Donna offered a sense of calm and comfort. Our families could not be more pleased with the kindness and caring our mother Beverly Thomas received while in Ark on the River, under Donna's care. She was well cared for, happy and most comfortable during her time of transition. We are so thankful she had this experience as well as our families. So appreciated by all of us. Donna was amazing! My Dad was cared for in the most honorable way. The best you can want for a loved one is for them to be cared for the way you would care for them and Donna did exactly that!!! She also cared for the family and supported us by her words, prayer and opening her home for us daily. After my Dad passed we didn’t want to leave this comforting environment. Thank you so much Donna!
I cannot say enough amazing things about Ark on the River and working with Donna and Amy. They cared for my father in his last weeks with the utmost compassion and care. When I would show up for visits Donna would be watching his favorite TV show (Blue Bloods!) with him or playing his favorite music! The care he received here was 11/10! The home is beautiful, overlooking the river and I could not have imagined another place for my father to spend his final days.
