There were a few things we looked for in a group home: 1) Structured but adaptable daily routine, 2) Care takers familiar with memory care, 3) great working relationship with Hospice of the Valley--which was what we had for my father-in-law, and Arizuma Horizons Assisted Living checked those boxes. I have no idea how other websites have them listed with a five star rating. This place is horrendous ! How horrendous May you ask ? To put it plainly , I would not let my DOG stay here for free . Let alone a elderly parent or relative.

My mother has been a resident since Oct 2021, she is ALTCS the owner collected payemnt from the state and from me and when my case worker caught the error the owner had a fit and argued for weeks and didnt want to refund payment. She doenst understand her business and her association with the state of Arizona.
