The Arizona board of pharmacy has POOR LEADERSHIP! They choose what emails they want to reply to and in my opinion BIASED. Instead of automatically dismissing NON-JURISDICTIONAL complaints, they waste everyone's time by investigating and demanding a statement from the party whom the complaint is about. Sit on the complaint and wait many months for the executive director to dismiss the complaint and up until 2024 have the board members ratify the executive director's dismissals. Does not allow reporting of unprofessional conduct from their pharmacy through their 'complaint form' , so you if you have any serious issues that need to be addressed, just go directly to the police. They clearly do not take any valid complaint or concern seriously, or it is clearly yet to be seen.

The Arizona Board of Pharmacy has shown a lack of integrity. They allowed Walgreens to use artificial intelligence for prescription verification without ensuring the system functioned properly. When the system failed, it was reported to the Board, yet they issued only a letter of concern—a meaningless reprimand.
