Embassy of Hillsdale is an amazing facility. Administration, finance, nursing and rehabilitation are hands on. They have aided me literally 24/7. There is no question that I asked that wasn't thoughtfully answered, giving me their undecided attention . Every department works tirelessly and in unison. Embassy at Hillsdale has very accomplished and capable nurses, rehabilitation and administrative care. They are attentive and caring and very hands on. During the holidays they make sure that every resident has a secret Santa and they worry about the smallest details of making residents happy and understood. During the snow storm this past month they reassured the families of their residents that they were prepared with back up generators and extra staff. My grandmother lived here for several years and loved it, my father was here for almost 2 years and he was very happy, my mother currently lives here and she says she couldn't imagine living in any other nursing facility. The administrator is wonderful, the Nurses & CNA's are caring. The scenic country setting is beautiful. The business manager is very knowledgeable. Great place overall.
In 2021 they accepted my dad without orders from Geisinger medical center and therefore did not administer meds, food, or drink. Dad died within 3 days. DON'T DO IT.
