Dr Ahmad office shim and staff have been wonderful.
I recently decided to look into having a sleeve gastrectomy after losing @120lbs with diet and exercise. Dr. Ahmad came highly recommended by my primary doctor. The office staff at Dr. Arif Ahmad’s Port Jefferson location is completely incompetent and unprofessional. My first issue involved the billing department, which sent me to collections without ever notifying me about outstanding insurance checks that were supposed to be forwarded to their office. I received no bills in the mail, no notice during any of my visits, and wasn’t made aware of the outstanding balance until I got a collection notice months later. Getting in touch with office is extremely difficult and when you do they are nasty. Feel very rushed and they don't care about your well being.
