I wrote to Chanel 9 news about these guys being a fraudulent insurance company I have the dental plan and i can’t wait until enrollment time so I can take these guys out of my benefits.
If I could put zero stars I would. This is the absolute worst insurance company to work with and they don’t pay claims. A complete waste of money that shouldn’t be allowed to provide dental insurance.
Claims don't get paid, when you call you are on hold for atleast an hour and then you are told the claim will be expedited to be processed. My office has been waiting 5-6 months waiting for claims to be paid. They sent a check with explanation of benefit so who knows what patient account it goes to. When you call for that they said they'd email an EOB and its been 3 weeks, still nothing. Website is absolutely HORRIBLE, not helpful at all! I would never recommend Argus Dental.
I just got off the phone with one of their "representatives". This woman, Maritza, was awfull!!! Her purpose was not to assist me. She had a terrible attitude. If she doesn"t want to work there, I can help her with that.
Warning: Argus Dental should not be an option if you looking for Dental and/or Vision care! They are great at taking your monthly premiums but pathetic at paying out claims! I have been trying since Feb-22 to have my claim paid out to no avail! I also can't get anybody to return my call, respond to email or trying to utilize a useless portal. Every option is a dead-end! I even had a Argus employee advising I probably will not get reimbursed - it is bad!
Worst Ever! Inefficient, Non Caring. Profit before Patients. I Broke a tooth. Went to dentist (Argus partner) They submitted pre-authorization plan. Told me to call Argus to follow up. For a solid week I did that daily. Every call took an hour or more while they "looked into" the file. They claimed they could not find it. Dentist resent multiple times.
