Owner Paul doesn’t have high attention to detail. Took me 5 trips (no exaggeration) to get the correct bottom bracket cartridge. I was argued with about the correct spindle length. The only reason I went here is everyone is out of everything and Paul stocks a lot of the older stuff but he either doesn’t know much, or doesn’t care, or both. If you chose to go here, plan to adapt your plans to the abnormal hours they are open and plan to be very specific and forceful about what you need, or plan to make several trips. Very friendly and very knowledgeable.
I had been in once before to get a new tube for my tire, the owner was quick to fix it and only charged me 5 bucks! today i took my son's bike in to get fixed, again the owner quickly fixed our problem and sent us on our way at no charge! He totally made my day and showed my kids that there really are some nice people left out there! Thank you very much Argonne cycle, i will recommend you to everyone i know, i hope your business does great!
it a nice place a little disorganized but other wise can get you what you want but sometime late on getting stuff done great guy but need to work a little harder on the place to make it so he can work a little more with out every one wanting to know what the prices are
its an alright place, but the guy didn't like me hitting on him very much, just a kiss then i had to run... im soo gay.
$90 to tune two bikes. Disorganized; bikes not ready for weekend after dropping them off three days earlier. Rushed the job so I don't think they did as good a job as could be expected. Brakes rub. Didn't do all that was asked. So rushed they didn't do/recommend bearing work that was probably needed. Maybe the pro-cyclers get better service here.
