First off, the car came 35 minutes after quoted time. It’s no fun standing on the sidewalk at Newark Airport with two tired kids, waiting for an extremely late driver. Then driver proceeded to go the wrong direction (north on 95 when he should have gone south), and was holding his phone up to his face while driving on the highway to check the map. We rely on Arecibo for when we travel with our toddler and need a car seat. Today we ordered a pickup at JFK airport with a toddler car seat which they confirmed. They arrived without a carseat leaving us in a position to choose between waiting for another car to come after a long, late flight or to take our toddler home without a safe car seat for him.

We’ve been a fan of Arecibo for over 4 years now, usually for rides to/from the airport, and they’ve have always been stellar. But I’m leaving this review because they saved our dog’s life last July. We brought Lily to VERG in Brooklyn on 7/3/2024 for what we now know were symptoms of Meningoencephalitis of Unknown Origin (MUO). Her condition tanked in a matter of hours and we had to transport her to AMC Schwartzman on 7/5/2024.
