Owner of multiple Archer units across a variety of different bikes. Absolutely love the ability to almost endlessly mix and match components and retain blissfully crisp shifting. My only point of note is that you really need to match your chain speed (actually width, but that’s just splitting hairs) to your cassette. Whilst your ArcherD1x will shift almost without incident, a lower “speed” chain will have a hard time squeezing between cassette cogs on a cassette of higher “speed” and you may get the occasional chain jump. Great product, I can use this wireless gear changer with any derailleur I choose, cheap or expensive.
I have use the D1x for over a year. The damn thing is bulletproof, reliable and easy to setup. Several of my riding friends use the D1x and we won't go back to analog shifting.
