numerous emails no response sent 2 units back for repair several months ago doesn't' t reply no wonder went out of business the units didn't even last a year very disappointing

Owner of multiple Archer units across a variety of different bikes. Absolutely love the ability to almost endlessly mix and match components and retain blissfully crisp shifting. My only point of note is that you really need to match your chain speed (actually width, but that’s just splitting hairs) to your cassette. Whilst your ArcherD1x will shift almost without incident, a lower “speed” chain will have a hard time squeezing between cassette cogs on a cassette of higher “speed” and you may get the occasional chain jump.
