My mom got her daith pierced by Bri 2 years ago. The jewelry is curved, and the anatomy of that area is curved, but she dug around in her cartilage with a straight needle. She messily slid this jewelry in and she soon after developed painful pricing bumps that persisted for the 2 years she had it in. She had to get an acrylic piece put in, but the new piercer she went to couldn’t get it in because of these abscesses on the entrance and exit of the piercing.
