Arcadia has been the most wonderful group of people - from the leadership and admissions team to the caretakers I see every time we visit. I am incredibly grateful to now have peace of mind that my Dad is finally in a good place where he'll be safe and happy. Arcadia also deserves recognition for their treatment of our nation's Veterans. I recently had a loved one placed at Arcadia and so far they have far exceeded my expectations. He is a total care patient and most places seem like they are ok with it but then that wears off. So far I have not seen that here. They have been so patient and kind with him. The place is always clean. The staff is the friendliest I have ever been around. You can tell they actually enjoy what they are doing and actually care about the residents.
At the end of July, 2023, Gloria Trossbach, had a fall that resulted in a fracture in her hip. She also has Dementia which is not a great mix with physical and occupational therapy. After a week stay at an in-patient rehab, they were ready to discharge her, making all the preparations for her to return home. Her daughter still works 3 days a week and is active in our local fire department. Gloria was non weight bearing at this time. For her and my safety, I refused her return to home. I sent messages to local assisted living... read more
