Truly magical.
This was my first time visiting the ARC. When I pulled up, my first thought was ‘I’m home.’ It was a comforting feeling being on this sacred land. I can with a yoga retreat group where I provided massages to guests and I also was able to participate in activities. I came in with the hope of feeling nourished, and let me tell you…..this place….the people….the energy…..completely nourishes you. The food is EXCELLENT! (I LOVE food!!) I stayed at the Hermitage for new year’s eve and had a peaceful and restorative time. The Hermitage, while rustic, is very comfortable and cozy and the food brought to me was incredible. During my time there, I felt very welcomed and cared for. I stayed just one night but I think in the future I would stay longer as the time away from the business of life goes by too fast.
ARC Retreat Community was absolutely phenomenal. It was a great experience with so much more. I recommend you try it for yourself.
There are few places where encountering the self happens so easily, where the opportunity to do the work on self and community is so well facilitated by your surroundings, and also protects sacred historical and cultural sites. How can I adequately describe the value ARC affords its participants? I can't. But I can try. 🩵
