Best new bike day on record, and I'm old. Was between two bikes, with pros and cons to both, and over a few weeks, four different staff members spent time with me, answered all my questions (there were a lot), and helped me land on the ideal setup. I had two half-day bike park coaching lessons through Arbutus Routes, in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. Both days started with a mechanic kindly checking my personal bike over before the ride, and then chatting with the coach about my goals and priorities for the lesson. Lizzie, the coach, truly made the experience, by sharing her knowledge of skills and technique, to help me work towards my individual biking goals.
