I had a small parcel was delivered to my home address in Barolin Street near the shopping centre, this road is busy all day and a lot of foot traffic. The parcel was left on the pavers just inside out metal gate in full view. The fence is aluminium so there is zero privacy. Needless to say it was stolen. When using the chat option I was told to contact the supplier I bought from and report it lost! It wasn't lost it was stolen due to negligence! They informed they would speak to the driver. Very disappointing experience. Communication was poor from the beginning. I was told my parcel was in Brisbane, but I wasn’t given clear or helpful information about its whereabouts. The staff member I spoke with was rude and abrupt, which made an already frustrating situation worse. I was also told someone would call me back, but I never received a call. Why oh why, do your delivery drivers not knock or beep? At 7am this morning, I happened to notice a white van driving down my street. Thought nothing of it, went on my tablet, and saw my parcel was out for delivery, great. Suddenly had a thought, last time Aramex delivered, they left a large parcel, sent in the box it came in, on my front doorstep, in view of everyone, with, "Robot Vacuum" clearly written on the side.
