We came in to get SNAILS just cheap little snails, the ladies working knew this. They treated my daughter and I like we were going to spend hundreds of dollars. They did not mind that we looked at EVERY TANK 6 times and got all excited over baby star fish. When the lady noticed that one of the fresh water snails we picked out didn't have the best looking snail she just GAVE us some calcium for him! Christina (spelling?) provided excellent customer service, sold me exactly what I asked for (even though I didn't go , didn't belittle me (but was willing to put up with my newbie shrimp/plant questions), and did it all with a smile. Considering I used to keep African cichlids, this part of the hobby is new to me and Christina definitely gave me a place to go. Thanks, guys!
I have done business with Aquatic design for 25 years. Their business is based on integrity, excellent knowledge, and customer-centered needs. The fish and supplies are the highest quality. Owner and manager Larry Resch will often recommend you *not* buy something if it is incompatible with your tank...who does that these days? I cannot recommend Aquatic Design highly enough.
I went in today for Black Friday and when I asked the tall, guy with longer blonde hair if they had any Black Friday sales going on, he said “No. We aren’t Target.” He had an incredibly rude attitude. I bought some hermits and snails since I was there but I ended up leaving and going to dallas north aquarium to get the fish I was looking for instead of buying them at aquatic design. I will not be going back. I am a frequent customer that they lost due to a rude employee.
