The customer service provided at this store is simply top notch. Joe is patient and kind, explains things in a way that's easy to understand without being condescending, doesn't rush you, and he remembers your name. It's like Cheers, but for fountain pens! Prices are better than what you'll find online. There's a great selection of ink as well as stationery. 10/10 would recommend!
I love this little store. It makes me wish this forgotten indoor mall was still full of specialty shops and activity. I bought my husband a fountain pen here a few years ago back when we were dating. Joe was so helpful in helping me pick something out, knowing nothing about fountain pens myself. We've since been back a number of times, and I've bought a really lovely refillable leather journal and pen for myself. This place is awesome!! Everybody should go support them! Get yourself a pen and a notebook and start a commonplace journal! They are great here, i loved it!
Fill your side quest by uncovering this little gem, hidden away in an Art Deco masterpiece of a Tower, the "city within a city". A writing shop maned by two divine eccentrics. I bought 10 pens for my coworkers. They are great pens. Would be a 5 star review but, I was handing them out to my coworkers and one of the boxes was empty. :( sad day. Paid for an empty box. It happens. I should have double checked.
