Was not a customer. Apparently this TAX SOLUTION COMPANY thought it was okay to try and bully me into giving private information without any semblance of graciousness. They demanded my tax ID number without stating the reason why, or for which client they were doing it for, or for what reason they needed it, or anything. It was quite ridiculous. I was being shouted at for a good 5 minutes. Do not patron this company.
I went to her one year for the first and last time. I was charged extra 275.00, her explination was, it was the first visit and she charges more to set things up, next year would be less. The following year I called to find out what she was going to charge, and reminded her of the conversation, and she called me a liar ("that's not true, I'd never chare lIke that") and told me she never charges extra for the first year and it should have been 250.00. Janiese is my mother, and she has done my taxes for years now. She has always been superb at uncovering deductions to decrease my tax liability, and provides prospective insight to help "keep more money in my pocket." I would recommend her to anyone who needs anything from basic tax prep to more advanced work which requires representation in front of the IRS.
I am not sure what the reviewer's agenda or motivation is in posting this negative review of Applied Tax Solutions. My experience with Applied Tax Solutions, Janiese Norris, was at the opposite end of the spectrum. I was astounded that she could fight the IRS on my behalf. She spent over 3 years of hard, diligent work starting in 2007 after I was a victim of Identity theft. I won my appeal in 2010!
