Apple Valley fan since before my birth! Born and raised in Chicago, my family discovered Apple Valley during a summer visit to SW Michigan. Mom was thrilled to find a grocery that carried so many different varieties of healthy foods, herbs (for cooking as well as medicinal), spices, vitamins, supplements, water filters, and more along with a great deli. Good for natural foods. This place is great if you're a vegetarian. I'm not a vegetarian, so it's not as great, but it's still pretty good. This is where I usually go to find natural ingredients for baking.
Great selection Apple Valley has a great selection of natural, hard-to find foods. They carry lots of the specialty items that most other stores don't. If you are looking for whole foods, this is definitely the place. The store is huge, so it can suck up a lot of your time, but you'll definitely find what you're looking for!
a different market This plac is like a smaller Whole Foods. They have many organic and vegetarian foods as well as soaps, lotions, shampoos and other beauty nessesaties. There selection is huge and there produce is awesome.
I love this place! I always enjoy shopping at Apple Valley. I especially like their deli foods which are so delicious. There is a wide variety of healthy items to choose from.
