This dental experience left me in tears and had me feeling very discriminated against at how unprofessional this dentist Dr. GERGENS is who told me that he didn’t feel comfortable extracting my teeth because I was BORN with a DISEASE !! Now I have had this appointment since March 2020 and not once out of the 5 times they called me to make sure I was going to show up for the appointment did they say we don’t take patients with your disease that I know good and well is listed on my chart So bottom line is that he said it really rude and with a nasty tone that he would not know what to do if something went wrong my reply is the same thing you would do with anyone else but he refused it was almost like he didn’t like people of my color what I thought was strange because he works in a office full of people my color so I would watch out for DR.GERGENS he secretly doesn’t like people of color it was written all over his face as I left the office boiling hot 😡 and in tears because I can’t get my teeth fixed that have been hurting me for almost 6months because I was BORN with a medical issue #totaldiscrimination #neveragain #unprofessional #totalwasteofmytime #thanksfornothing #veryunprofessional

From the second I walked in I knew I was at the right place. Very kind, comfortable and helpful front desk people. My first visit the x-rays were taken. One week later I was being taken cared of. I had many teeth removed to make space for dentures. My specialists were Dr. Shireman and Dr. Saul who treated me as a very important and valuable person. They worked as a highly skilled team. I felt secure and relaxed during my oral surgery. Extractions were expertly done and I hardly felt any pain. They gave me clear and complete instructions and supplies for healing. It was like I've known them for years. If you want excellence and superb work done I would insist you see the personnel at Apple Valley Dental.
