Terrible, please don’t send family here. Care staff seem to mean well, and check in frequently during the day. When present, the personal care staff is attentive and kind. But there’s a persistent issue with lack of staff during weekends and nighttime. Which does impact patient care. Expect your family member to wait 4 hours+ for aid during the day, and not to get it at night. They failed to notice a major injury in my mom, which required a hospital visit. I recently stayed at Shelton lakes Apple Rehab for post-op recovery after hip surgery, hoping for a peaceful and supportive environment to heal. While the staff was generally kind, the facility itself was extremely outdated, and the level of care was highly unprofessional. I was neglected during my stay, left to fend for myself, and basic necessities like coffee, tea, juice, toiletries, and even proper assistance were not provided. My mother has been at the ARSL for about 10 months so far. I can't begin to tell you this experience has been going well all along.... Patricia Baker has done a tremendous job with helping me with the application process for mom's Medicare and Medicaid. She always reminded me about deadlines and kept me in the loop of things.
