I thought the school’s concept was great. The space was clean and the staff were welcoming. That said, I was concerned about a few things that didn’t align with what we were told during the tour. We were informed that our toddler would be sleeping in a crib with the blinds closed. However, when checking the camera, I saw my child sleeping on a floor mat with direct sunlight on her face. This is a response to Julia's review. I feel it is only fair to clarify that the lead teacher for Preschool 2 is Ms. Lau & the Co-teacher is Ms. Gerhold. Ms. Carla is the assistant. Both Ms. Lau & Ms. Gerhold are the 2 teachers who attend to every detail and put in all the extra hours of hard work every single day. My son has been in the Toddler class at Apple Montessori Westfield for about 10 months. It was a difficult transition at first, filled with a lot of sick days and a lot of tears. But after about three months we noticed huge improvements in his speech. When he began the class, he could say about 3 or 4 words, now he can repeat anything said in front of him and speak in small sentences. We are so thankful for our teacher Ms. Lau and Ms. Carla! They are truly amazing — so kind, patient, and attentive to every little detail. My child absolutely loves coming to Apple Montessori every day, and that says it all! It’s such a warm, caring environment where you can feel how much the teachers genuinely love what they do. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our child to grow and learn. Thank you for everything you do!
