Our daughter opened a Youth Savings Account when she was six years old in the hopes of saving up for a horse someday. We told her that if she saved and didn't take the money out, she would earn interest and her money would grow. Instead, Apple Bank closed her account due to "inactivity" and sent her child's life savings (age 6-14) to the state. I am still trying to get this kid's money back. I could almost understand this being legal for adults' accounts. But Youth Savings Accounts???!

This has been our long time bank for decades. Apple is great! I hope they will be around forever! Competent tellers, friendly and polite service. This is the best bank ever. I love them.
