I would not recommend using Appalachian Transportation for your wedding transportation needs. They did nothing but let us down during the wedding planning process. After we had to postpone our wedding because of Covid-19, Appalachian Transportation was the only vendor that did not honor our original deposit and asked us to start the process over. So disappointing.We booked them to take the bride and groom to their hotel. We paid for a classic Rolls Royce. The car had a flat tire 10 minutes after it left. Friends had to pick-up the bridge and groom and deliver them. While discussing the issue with the owner, he said "flats happen. They got a picture didn't they." When asked how they would compensate us, they said too bad. These things happen and its part of the contract. I am not sure I have ever dealt with an owner with less concern for customer service

I booked Appalachian Transportation for a private wine tour with eight others and we had a great time! Our driver, Charlie, arrived before the scheduled time to ensure correct address and was extremely helpful from start to finish with loading our things and making sure we were all comfortable. He shared some history of the area and wineries and patiently waited for us at each stop. We were able to enjoy each vineyard and never felt rushed and were comfortable in knowing we had a safe driver. Lynnette in the office was very ... read more
