There are some great products here that you really can't find anywhere else. Yes, Kevin is unapologetically conservative. If that offends someone, don't buy ... but you're definitely missing some unique products ... like Habanero Chunk pickles.
Visited Highlands for the first time and was curious to check this store out. Then I saw their display, this was only part of it but it is absolutely not an appropriate way to run a business. Even for those of us who also respect our country, politics and far right ideologies shouldn’t be used in business- it’s more unwelcoming for visitors. Quaint country store packed full of canned and pickled everything! The proprietors make at least half of every thing canned in the store. Most days you get the incredible smell of whatever they are putting up that day. The cherry jam with amaretto is absolutely fantastic. Cherries packed to the brim! Sad we only bought 1 jar. We won't make that mistake again.
