This place is a hidden gem. I’ve noticed this place multiple times (the decor is 100% my vibe) but had never gone in until yesterday. Firstly, the staff are incredible- I was greeted by Alexis and Ayona (I’m so sorry if I misspelled your name) with my 10 month old daughter and they were so sweet and HILARIOUS. Apothec is an amazing store and I feel so lucky to have a shop like this in Richmond! The owner and employees are kind, knowledgeable, and have curated a truly unique apothecary-inspired store! I’ve found amazing perfumes at Apothec, had tea with friends there, and recently attended a perfume-workshop class which was an unbelievable experience!
Five stars does not do this place and their employees the justice it deserves. I went in here as a gifted shopping trip expecting to buy a perfume I may have smelled before and was instead welcomed by two friendly front desk folk who showed me a few lines I had never heard of. When I had found a scent I loved that was unlike anything I’d ever picked out for myself I heard an employee talking about the perfume bar where you can make your own scent. The most beautiful shopping experience in Richmond! It’s the prettiest, coziest, dreamlike shop I’ve ever been in. Trisha carrie’s products (a lot local and female owned) that continue to surprise and excite me. Workshops are fab. Barista menu - Amazing!
