$5 Notary is a misleading shop sign. Walk close and you see $10 charge for Notary. I would recommend going to 'All Service Center - Notary, Apostille and Shipping' (530 Lawrence Expwy) for reasonably priced services and informed personnel who charge the correct amount for notarizing signatures.
Be Careful!!! I gave a very important document I needed for travel outside the US for Apostille through this agency and was told it'll be ready within 6-7 business days. I was over charged for this simple service! The days passed and the document wasn't ready, so they stopped answering my calls!! I tried calling tens of times, and almost never got an answer. In the few times someone answered, I got the most rude and shameful answers, with no understanding or any attempt to help! Would never come back!!!

I had a last minute urgent Apostille for India to buy a property, they completed in 3 days. Very happy with the service and highly recommend.
