In my experience tow truck drivers are generally skilled drivers. Not the ones that work for this company. On my way home from work this evening, a blue car and I were trying to go around the tow truck that seemed to want to be a pace-car-driver. He kept slowing down and speeding up. In fact, when I got along side to pass he sped up to 60 miles an hour until coming up to another car and then slowed suddenly. The kid that found my car after we talked I handed over the key fob and he released the car and turned it around. Off he went. 4 days later I go to the yard to retrieve my car now the check engines light is on because in tow the speed sensors were harmed. Horrific event and don’t worry about not being able to contact them. Impossible.
My car was damaged when I got it back. Broken plastic on the passenger side mirror. My key fobs don't start the car anymore. They got deprogramed somehow during the repossession. The shitty fob they gave me only starts the car. It cannot open it. The physical key part cannot open the car from the keyhole. And it doesn't have a button, obviously. I had an extremely frustrating experience with Apollo Recovery Service. Trying to get in touch with them was nearly impossible—they simply do not answer their phones, no matter how many times you call or what time of day. When I finally managed to speak with someone, the interaction was disappointing. The staff came across as rude and unhelpful, showing little interest in actually resolving my issue. Showed up in the middle of the night to repo my vehicle. I understand it was my fault, but a common courtesy to knock on my door to let me grab a few things. I got my vehicle back and I am missing a lot of personal tools. I would warn all companies to not use them as from what it seems, there are a lot of people who are in the same boat.
