Helpful and courteous.
The day after my dad died unexpectedly, I forgot to transfer money from savings to cover two payments that hit my checking. Because MY DAD DIED AND I WAS GRIEVING. I went in person to this location to ask them to please waive the overdraft fees as I was in the process of closing my checking account anyway. They refused. The "customer service" person who refused to help me did not even bother to say "I'm sorry for your loss." I was treated like trash. Why even have a bank if you don’t want to deal with or help your members? It’s pathetic. These people have no one to answer to which means they treat you how they want and simply do not give a shit. From the highest manager to the lowest employee, you will find nothing but uncaring disconnected people
I've been banking with APGFCU for over 10 years now. Its not as great as it use to be. They just now got Tap to Pay (last bank to get it) they use to not charge ATM fees, now they do. Interests rates on savings are pretty low. They have a High Yield Savungs account but that requires minimums. APGFCU is more of a big bank now and less of a Credit Union. Also if you live outside of Harford County, best bank elsewhere due to lack of branches outside Harco. Customer service however has always been great. Real people to deal with... read more
