I am deeply disappointed with the lack of care, attention, and security protocols displayed by Aperion Care Burbank, IL; during my grandfather’s stay. From the very beginning, it was evident that guest check-in procedures were not being enforced. My father loves it here and I’m going to make him a permanent resident. this is supposed to be the worst time of his life. after suffering from a stroke in February, thankfully the stroke cleared after a couple weeks. that happened while he was here. They nursed and cared for him with his mental & physical disabilities. Where I could not do thin on a constant. he is enjoying how life. this is where he wants to stay. I would like to thank the entire staff at the Aperion Burbank. I was treated with respect and they were always professional. I also observed how caring they were to the other residents. Thank you again for the excellent service and concern I received, the activities in the social room were fun and engaging, my grandchildren even played bingo, the cleanliness of the facility, and the overall care. This facility is not handicapped accessible at all. After researching, I found that the real owner of Aprion Healthcare has zero qualifications in the healthcare system, which is sad. He hires administrators with no empathy or compassion and who are unprofessional. The owner has an MBA in business, but lacks healthcare training. It seems he is only interested in making money.
