I had an amazing experience at Aotearoa Surf School. The accommodation was comfortable and peaceful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The surfing lessons were a lot of fun, and the instructors were friendly, supportive, and easy to learn from. The scenery was absolutely stunning ā a perfect place to enjoy the ocean and nature. I would highly recommend Aotearoa Surf School to anyone who wants to learn how to surf and have a wonderful time.Ā
This was truly a life-changing experience. I booked their Surf Tour. As someone who isn't a strong swimmer, I had a lot of doubts before booking, but I enjoyed every single minute. The environment was incredibly supportiveāhuge shoutout to Piha and Sam for being so great! I had such a great time!! The instructor was very friendly, fun and helpful. I learnt some really good tips which I progressed quickly with and got feedback that I could use to improve straight away. The instructions were super clear, I had a lot of fun and would absolutely recommend this to everyone! Boards and wetsuits are available, the instructor goes through water safety and asks everyone if they have surfed before/experience, the equipment is good quality and looked after and each person had a period attention on them...Ā read more
Truly stunning views from the bed! We stayed for 2 nights, beds were perfectly comfortable, showers were great, the birdlife and insects are beautiful. Some things were incomplete, the waterslide was not functioning and the pond was unhealthy, but I'm sure with development these features will come alive.Ā
