The new in charge Sae-san was great. Very helpful and very friendly. Prices are ok. If you have time to wait, order your kendo gear from Japan direct as it may be cheaper. That being said, selection of equipment and parts is reasonably large and the space. Just wow! If you ever wanted to see what a traditional Japanese home looks like, you need to drop in just for that.
Ayami-san was very helpful and kind to show me the different items for sale at the store. I learned a lot today and I will definitely come back again!
I went to Vancouver for a quick relaxing trip to get away from CFB Esquimalt, and remembered that my ex girlfriend shopped here for Kendo gear. I saw them at a tournament in Richmond, and figured I'd see for myself what the store might have for me. I did not expect to see how organized the store was, and just how comfortable it was inside.
