Teller who could not add up basic maths and overcharged me to withdraw cash. Avoid
I requested an appointment with the branch staff to resolve a very simple procedure: I am leaving the country and I need to know what is the safest procedure to close my account from abroad. I explained my situation to the girl at least 5 times and as if she were playing a cassette tape and without even paying attention to what I was saying, she continued repeating the same thing. ANZ terrible customer service My 80 year old freind was scammed and has Ticketek charges on her ANZ credit card of over $1000. ANZ cancelled her card and sent her a new one. However as she does not have a customer registration number or has misplaced it the only way to contact the bank to set up online banking is to ring them. We have tried 4 times! Having to wait to talk to someone at the branch is extremely frustrating 1/2 the time they avoid the questions and not them properly. Calling the branch is just impossible to answer a simple question and u call the branch it goes it overseas customer service line with extension wait of time.
