I’ve decided to leave this bank due to multiple incidents with them being unreliable. Anz Strathpine specifically needs to learn general kindness. I walked in the other day and asked if I could close my bank accounts (all empty), and I knew from a friend of mine doing it earlier - that they can do it right then and there. Went to deposit money today and was advised I can only do this thought the ATM as there is no tellers. 20 minutes standing at a atm at the front of the branch putting in small lots only to find out once you hit a certain limit you can not deposit any more!! Staff very unfriendly and no help at all and even rude and advised that the situation was not ideal then I had then to drive to Northlakes to deposit the remainder. What a debarkle

My mother visited the Strathpine ANZ branch on Thursday 20/11/2025 at 9:30am to request a copy of a specific transaction receipt (either emailed or printed). She arrived 15 minutes before opening, but was passed between multiple staff members and the manager, each directing her to someone else. It seemed like no one knew how to handle what should have been a simple request. What’s the point of having a bank if you can’t withdraw your money in branch? Went in to withdraw just to be told only can use the ATM and have a limit of 2.5k per card per day. Ridiculous

Good service helped me set up a new bank account
