Never a time visiting this branch without some form of issue, just like every other customer seems to unsure. Drove 40 mins out of my way this morning to deposit funds into the ATM (Thanks to ANZ having sweet FA branches/atm posted around Adelaide). Surprise surprise…what am I faced with upon arrival? Both ATM’s out of action. You have dropped the ball too many times ANZ, I’m out! I’ll will be closing all my accounts first thing Monday morning.
My spouse and i applied for a home loan with ANZ and were assigned to Tommy Yau. We had a number of phone calls and email exchanges over several weeks, which is understandable with home loan applications. But after that, we just could not get an update, even after following up multiple times. He never called back to let us know where things stood. I would not recommend going with this bank, and if you do, run far away if Tommy is assigned to your application.
If i could give ZERO i would have. Been a customer with ANZ THIRTY SIX YEARS, multide of successful paid on time and in full loans. Applied for a small personal loan in person at the branch and still waiting for approval 2.5 weeks later. Phone calls and emails to branch ignored. Calls to head office on hold for ridiculous time spans. Bounced from one person to another with apologies but no action. What an absolute joke of a bank, been in the queue for over 25 minutes only 1 till open for customers who have to see a teller and can’t use machines. If I didn’t have to come here I wouldn’t . No apologies no explanations.
