I had a deeply upsetting experience at North Lakes ANZ branch that left me feeling humiliated and discriminated against. When I attempted to withdraw my own money, I was immediately treated with suspicion. The staff interrogated me about why I wanted access to my own funds and what I intended to use them for. They claimed it was for “security reasons,” but this has happened to me more than once, and it’s clear I’m being singled out.
