While I understand this is a specialist branch and the staff member I spoke was very pleasant, , that there was not one person to complete a simple transaction without using the ATM is unacceptable. Lucky I am also with CBA , so was able to give them the money I was going to deposit.
Attended the Mentone branch to our own fault without prior booking. Greeted by staff member Danil (I'm sorry if I've spelt this wrong from memory!). He greeted us and asked if we had an appointment booked to which we didn't. He asked to be seated for a short time and was able to squeeze us in short notice before his next customer. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and made our trip in informative as well, guiding us through opening a joint account. Waited on hold for 40 minutes then got told I chose "the wrong option and came to the wrong section" - I chose talk to a customer service operator - don't blame me for your system !!! And then instead of transfer you hung up on me - So Bad time to change banks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Terrific service delivered by two knowledgeable staff members today. Both to be commended!
Very unhelpful staff. Especially since Southland staff told me to come here (Mentone) only to be told to go to Moorabbin as the bank close and wouldn’t let me use the inside machine to make a deposit. Useless
