Worst branch of any bank I have been to in the world. No exaggeration. I was treated so poorly when I came into the branch. They couldn’t deposit a large amount of money because their counting machine didn’t work. It was 3:10 pm the day before Good Friday, when the bank was about to close for 5 days. The large amount of money was a security risk for me to have, as I am a single elderly woman living on my own. I have been in 3 times over the last 2 weeks and each time the staff have been very helpful. I agree that they are probably understaffed but I was very happy with the service I received

Every time I visit the ANZ branch, there's only one teller available, and the wait time is always 30 to 45 minutes, sometimes even longer. The only single teller, Fatima, does an excellent job, but it's clear ANZ need more staff. People lead busy lives and often have limited time to see a teller, so these long wait times are frustrating. It seems like part of a larger push towards a cashless society, making it harder for those who prefer to use cash.
