Contrary to other reviews I had a very positive outcome. Had problem with deleted phone app. Was asked if I had an appointment to which I responded no. Was served by a very pleasant young girl who sorted it out for me. 10/10 .
I went into the branch to close a credit card account and the person that "assisted" me was worse than useless. He kept telling me to call up ANZ to close a credit card account. What's even the point of having a branch if customers are told to call up while there?
ATM doesn’t even allow people to deposit at times. What kind of ATM doesn’t allow deposits? Also, unhelpful staff at this ANZ
This is directed at ANZ in general. ANZ make a simple request turn into a nightmare. Hardly any tellers in any branches, staff that are there direct you to their phone or online banking system, which is impossible to navigate. Customer Service no longer exists. You've lost a 40 year customer.
Rude, unprofessional, terrible customer service. Enough to make me want to consider switching banks all together. Simple process of withdrawing money, after waiting 20 minutes to be served by the teller, told to ‘withdraw some money from the ATM then come back’. Why? No. Provide the reason why I’m making a withdrawal, then questioned about it with a condescending attitude, eye rolls etc. Thrown my money, told to count it at a table to confirm it (no note breakdown provided, just pushed along).
