Had arrived in Burnie for an overnight trip. My phone would not allow me to go online, so was unable to transfer money into my account / card I use. The Manager was so helpful, after awhile was able to assist me on her computer. Ever so grateful...18th February...
I personally came into the Burnie branch because I wanted to transfer money from my account to buy a vehicle. I was using my own money, not money from a loan. This is money that I should be able to use for whatever reason I want. I was told I needed an "invoice" before ANZ would let me withdraw money from my account to buy the vehicle. I have never heard of any other banks stopping someone from withdrawing their own money. If it is your money, and its available you should be able to use it for whatever you want. ANZ congratulations, Burnie branch has an absolute standout with branch manager Amy Spinks. This lovely lady has gone way above and beyond to realign our banking to give us best value for money. I cannot speak highly enough of her. I just hope that ANZ realise what a huge asset they have in their business.
