I personally came into the Burnie branch because I wanted to transfer money from my account to buy a vehicle. I was using my own money, not money from a loan. This is money that I should be able to use for whatever reason I want. I was told I needed an "invoice" before ANZ would let me withdraw money from my account to buy the vehicle. I have never heard of any other banks stopping someone from withdrawing their own money. If it is your money, and its available you should be able to use it for whatever you want. ANZ congratulations, Burnie branch has an absolute standout with branch manager Amy Spinks. This lovely lady has gone way above and beyond to realign our banking to give us best value for money. I cannot speak highly enough of her. I just hope that ANZ realise what a huge asset they have in their business.

I went in to draw out CASH was not asked for any identification example drivers licence etc But was asked as to why I WANTED the cash i said no to that its my money but in the end had to say, lady disappeared out the back .1 service lane open a line of 10 people behind me that i kept saying sorry to 1 man left I feel it's none of the banks business what I'm buying or doing with my money , shame you the bank wasn't as interested in giving me some advice as to what I should be doing with the money ive had in there for years
